About Olive

Olive is a very playful, funny, energetic puppy. She can be very loving and snuggly with us and our 2 teenagers. However, she can also be quite aggressive and has bit and broken skin on both an adult and a teen in our home. She did this trying to get to another dog. She is a herder and is constantly trying to herd our other dogs, and is consistently trying to display her dominance over them. Olive can be such a joy, but she needs A LOT of behavioral training and support and a TON of exercise. We are sadly unable to meet those needs. Rehoming her has become urgent, as she has gotten out several times, and nipped at a small child riding a scooter in the neighborhood. The parents of that family are threatening to call animal control and have her euthanized. I'm afraid if we do not find her an appropriate home soon, she will be killed. She is just a puppy and doesn't deserve that. She just needs the right environment, attention level, and training to thrive.
