About Hen

Hen is approximately one year old and one of many dogs confiscated from a hoarding situation. Hen has received shots, She is good with other dogs, needs time with people, very shy not snippy. Will need a patient loving foster or foster to adopt who knows chis. This acclimation needs to be at her pace not yours. In other words if you are patient, confident, loving, and able to read dogs, she will be easy. She needs exposure to the outside world, ie car rides, vet trips, home depot trips, in small doses. She should acclimate fast. 7/15/24. Henny was spayed last week and spent a few days at the vets. She did wonderful and has allowed lots of handling was good with everyone. She is just a dog that needs many people hands on her and slow intro to all things new.. She is crate trained , now housebroken. Still needs to get used to the leash however she is NOT ready for walks about town.. This dog DOES need a fenced yard, another kind patient dog. Henny loves other dogs and they can be her mentor, but not to the exclusion of being handled by people. We do nightly lap snuggles, and she has come to love them. Now spayed, hw neg utd on shots and chipped she is ready for a forever home with someone that can train her, give her stability, love and set boundaries. Fostered in Bradenton.
