About Rey

This is Rey. So the situation is that she belonged to my finances ex wife and while he was deployed she left and moved to Washington and left her dog behind. My fianc̩ came home and had no idea the dog was still there. She's about 5 years old a small pit mix. She's not fixed and I have no idea on her vaccinations either. I've tried to get the ex wife to take her but she won't respond. We've posted in a few group pages trying to rehome her but it hasn't been successful. Rey is a sweet dog but she doesn't get along with my dog and consistently tries to attack her. She is also very skittish in nature and doesn't do well around small children. I have 3 kids and even if they aren't anywhere near her she still gets jumpy when my toddler moves too quickly. She would do a lot better in a home with older kids or no kids as well as being an only dog. She is crate trained to an extent but when left for prolonged periods of time will have accidents. She also can't free roam a house without supervision as she will likely have accidents as well. My fianc̩ is currently deployed again and I'm home by myself with the dogs. I have to rotate them in and out of the house so Rey and my dog get outside time but it's becoming really difficult trying to do that and manage kids at the same time. I really want to get her rehomed and we have exhausted every option we physically and financially can afford. We just can't seem to get anyone to take her let alone her own owner. I just want to see her go to a good home where she won't be stressed and I won't be stressed. It's no life for a dog to have to be locked in a crate to avoid any incidents.I applied for a voucher to get her fixed so I will be calling first thing Monday to get her in. Once that is done she will be spayed and up to date on vaccinations
