About Captain

Captain is a truck dog, He is very friendly and very good with kids and adults. He does have a mild fear of larger dogs But he's very friendly with smaller dogs. I always assumed he believes that he is a smaller dog. As I said before he is a truck dog. He grew up on a semi. I'm looking for a temporary long-time home for him because I live in a small apartment and we're having complications keeping him now that I no longer work with my company that allows me to keep him on the truck with me. We need a temporary Long-Term arrangement That is open for me to come back and get him when I buy home for him to come live with us. I am a truck driver and my new company pays me very well but does not allow animals and doesn't have a pet policy. This wrecks me because I love my dog and I love having him on the truck with me. I'm very unhappy about the arrangement but I want him to live a happy life possibly on a farm or with other Pyrenees dogs. He grew up on My farm before I started taking him out on the truck so he is raised around animals, But I do not know how he will react to cats. I've never seen him around cats so I don't know what the reaction will be. He lived on a truck and had very little interaction with cats. He is unneutered so there is always a possibility that you could breed him for that temporary arrangement. I love him and I want him to have a happy life. Also, there is a very definite possibility that you could get him easily licensed As a legal guardian dog because that was already his living arrangement on my truck with me. I deal with a lot of stress, a lot of loneliness and a lot of sadness on my truck and he was always there as my companion and best friend. If you are sad, he will lick your hand, And he will put his head on your lap because that is what he does with me on my long drives. He also is very good at protecting me on the truck, when people come near my semi he barks. He will not allow people near the truck. Although he never attacks anybody. He just barks to notify me of strangers at night. He will make a very Good LDG. He's also extremely intelligent, He knows how to lock and unlock doors and windows on trucks and semis.
