About Nico Suave

Nico is a lovely boy and loves his family. He likes to play with our cat but our cat doesn't like to play with him. Nico gets along, for the most part, with our other dog but has exhibited food aggression or protectiveness. He will 'sit' and 'wait' at mealtime when asked but has not mastered any other trained behaviors. He barks/growls with hackles up when around strange dogs. He can't go to the dog park because of this behavior. It would be ideal for him to go to a home with no other dogs. Preferably a home that will provide lots of structure. He is really smart. I am a single parent with two teens that he loves. If he has a structured /training he could be an amazing pet and protector of the home. He needs a job and a purpose.
