Let's talk about Yahtzee... He is the last of 9 dogs we saved from a rural farm in December of 2022 who literally were living off cattle dung.... The mother was a stunning Great Pyrenees we called Momma Grace and Grace she had! The cattle farm owner kicked her often, he claimed he loved her but she NEVER saw what real love was by a human.. Yahtzee was part of 3 survivors from the 1st litter she had on the property from multiple dogs, we also saved 5 babies on Christmas Eve that were a few weeks old from litter #2 and I literally crawled under an abandoned trailer house to help them. I was praying and yelling to Amber to please take care of our babies if this thing fell on me - it was SCARY! Needless to say we got everyone out but 2 and we came back Christmas day to get those... Yahtzee is part of that 1st litter, he was 8-10 months at that time and was not super great with his brother or other males... Yet through time, neutering, training and patience he is absolutely now incredible with all dogs of both sexes... He is actually afraid of the cats/mousers, so great with them in almost all ways - may not snuggle one but definitely will leave them alone. He goes out with 5 other dogs in his playgroup, male, female, low energy and high energy. All fantastic! Yahtzee is STRUGGLING!!! He is crate trained, potty trained, but this boy has NEVER known the love and life in a HOME!! I'm watching him daily become more stressed here, he is a Smooth Collie/Pyrenees mix and doesn't need to be here - its been almost 17 MONTHS!!! He is about 75 pounds so not the biggest of our babies, but gosh he is so loving. He is BORED! He needs an active family, hikers, bikers, walkers? Seriously anything. Can you PALLLLLEASSE HELP get this boy out of our facility? He is fully vetted, just needs a Foster or Adopter!!! We go NATIONWIDE and this guy is the sweetest..
