I am reaching out to anyone in TX and the surrounding states. I know this is not appropriate for all of you, however, I'm hoping you can tap into your existing network to find this beautiful dog a home. I found her wandering in my neighborhood in Crandall, TX on 6/15 and was told by neighbors that she had been out for at least 2 weeks as evidenced by their cameras. Once I was able to gain her trust, get her in my car, and get her to the animal hospital I Found she had no chip. I have posted on every possible local site to find any type of owner or person who would be willing to take her. There has been no response. She is extremely sweet. She Loves dogs. Seems good with kids. Not sure about cats, house training, or anything else. I have taken her to the vet. She is now up-to-date on shots and heartworm negative - On HW, flea, and tick prevention. She is estimated to be between 10 and 11 months old and weighs 41 pounds. Here is my major dilemma. I have 2 15 year old chihuahuas. One is special needs with stage 4 patella luxation - which means she is very mobility impaired. My chihuahua is unable to move in a way that would deter any type of injury to her. Having this huge puppy here has caused much anxiety for her. Then there is my other chihuahua who feels she needs to dominate and protect the little one. Both of my chihuahuas are under 5 lbs. Not much more than a toy to the puppy. The puppy has no clue how big she is or understands the need to be easy or gentle so I'm unable to have them anywhere in the same vicinity. I couldn't have anything happen to this beautiful puppy and know she will make some family an amazing dog. I just need help finding that family. I'm hoping with all of your resources and networks, you could possibly help me. I am willing to deliver her anywhere that she needs to go for a good home. I am good for a few more days before the stress becomes too much for my older girls. Please, please help.
