About Brynhild (Bryn)

Bryn needs someone who can work with her, we rescued her almost a year ago after being abandoned and was emaciated (14lbs) where they estimated she was 2yrs old. She shows signs of being abused, is very food aggressive, and has a high prey drive towards cats. But can also be friendly. She likes kids, but they cannot be around her when she has food, or she will become aggressive towards anyone. She is also not house trained, despite our almost year of efforts. She has separation anxiety when alone and becomes very destructive. She is very sweet and great with riding in cars. She likes to go hiking and walks. Is friendly at dog parks, but gets aggressive with our older dogs to insert dominance in situations that aren't necessary (I.e. walking past a couch or an object she wants). She needs a lot of work and someone who can be with her majority of the time. I am unable to provide the amount of care and time she requires due to working full time, going to school, and having kids and their busy schedules. We rescued her to give her a better home, and lifestyle, but we can't provide her with the best lifestyle she requires. We aren't sure what all she experienced in her first 2yrs. But she still seems to harbor some PTSD and is skiddish like she was previously abused and neglected. Please only serious inquiries. We want to find her a good and loving home.
