About Max

Max is a very good boy. He is two years old and 54 pounds. He is a yellow lab Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Bless his heart, he was dumped in a very bad area of town in Houston and found his way to an apartment complex He thought he might be safe around people because he loves them, but the children in the apartment complex started throwing rocks at him And trying to scare him away. Some kind people from the neighborhood started feeding him and giving him water so he stayed there until someone in that community threatened to poison him. He has some rough areas on his skin, but we are working on that. He is a good boy. He is leash and potty trained and goes into his kennel really well We don't know how long he was on the streets of Houston but we look forward to providing him with a forever home so he never hast to go there again He is Dog and people friendly. At this time we do not know about cats, but we feel like he is probably OK with them as well. He would love an active family
