About Ember

Ember is a approximately 18 month old Pit Bull who showed up at our Fire Station in Thomson, GA asking for help. Several of our staff and myself took her in and took care of her needs to include vet visits, shots, antibiotics for her cuts on her back, and worming medicine. She is now healthy, no heart worms, up to date on shots, and spayed. She is great around male and female adults, and seems to be okay around kids but has had limited exposure. She does bark at strangers coming to the fire station which is why we can't provide a permanent home. She is a great dog who needs a chance. She obeys commands and is leash trained. I wish we could some how keep her at the station, but county government says we need to find a home for her. As you can see in the pictures, she spends her business hours time in my office. She loves Nekot Peanut Butter crackers and is spoiled rotten. We ask that if any money is donated for her that it be donated to Rescue Me.
