About Thor

Thor is a great dog, he was found outside our home hiding from the sun. We have tried so hard to get him back to his rightful owners. We are not able to keep him though, he knows basic commands like 'sit, come here, stay (sorta)' he knows how to walk on a leash, and he knows what car rides are! We call him Thor because when we contacted animal control they said a woman had called looking for a dog named Thor with a similar description and when we tried that name he responded. We are hopeful that we can still find his rightful owners. However we also want to be proactive about finding him a good forever home incase that doesn't work out. Thor would be an amazing companion for a person or family who is adventurous and wants to take him along for the camping trips and trails or for someone who has a farm/ranch and he has the space and environment to be the dog he's meant to be! He is a big dog so with that comes big energy, he's very sweet and loving and has showed no sign of aggression whatsoever in the month and a half that we've had him. He's just a big baby, he loves toys! Loves to play fetch and tug o war. We believe Thor deserves the best in life, so if you inquire please tell us about your lifestyle and how Thor would fit into that. He has only been around us, man and woman, so we don't know how he is with kids or other pets. He jumped right onto the truck bed tonight when we took him to get scanned for his microchip lol so we think that shows he knows what adventure time is! and he also jumped right into the truck seat after and laid down.
