About Chevy

Chevy is a 8 year old male beagle that I am needing to rehome. I got him last year from an older lady that could no longer take care of him. I have a 10 acre farm and thought it would be perfect..... I was mistaken. Chevy is a VERY VERY loving boy but does not do well with my livestock. (Chickens and Goats) He is best in a home where he can lay on the couch and get pets all day. Occasionally he wants out to potty and run but that's not often. We have a big retriever mix that he plays with very well. But when outside he just wants to sniff around. He does get restless when left alone for more than about 4 hours. (Going through trash, Digging at carpet.) He is a one person dog. Meaning he is only attached to me and not my 2 kids or wife. His ideal situation would be someone that is home a lot, and will let him lay on the couch all day and give him pets. He is very loving and never seen any sign of aggression. He is just constantly trying to play with my chickens and it scares them. And goats are always trying to harm him. He is an awesome dog just not something that fits our lifestyle. I do not just want to get rid of him but find him a good home that he deserves.
