About Gypsy

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] We are unfortunately looking to re-home our beautiful dog, Gypsy. There will be a $100 rehoming fee, for good faith, and a home check. Message if you are able to help give Gypsy the forever home she deserves! NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS or suggestions, unless you know of a rescue that can help us do this right. Gypsy is 5 years old, and was adopted from our local pound. She is a very loving dogs who likes to play fetch and carry around a toy in her mouth when she's happy. She is amazing with kids! She tolerated cats, and liked to chase them a little. However, she has never attempted to hurt one. They're just fun to her. Three years ago she was diagnosed with a seizure disorder and is on twice daily medication so that she doesn't have any more seizures. She takes the medicine very easily wrapped in a treat or pill pocket. She also suffers from anxiety when we are not home, which is a main reason we need to re-home her. It is unfair that she has to be alone most of the day when we are at work or busy with our three young children after school. She deserves a companion who will be with her majority of the time, take her on walks, and maybe even some adventures. We are unable to provide this to her. Lastly, her anxiety has caused some aggression and attempts to be dominate towards our other dog over the last few weeks. Again, this is unfair to her or our other dog to be in these situations. All instances have happened when we (husband or wife) were not home, but a babysitter or housesitter were present. This has caused a lot of concern and fear for our oldest child. We are looking for Gypsy to have a forever home that will give her the attention, time, and care that we cannot.
