About Samantha

This beauty, Samantha's whole world has turned upside down when her elderly owner was taken to the hospital and animal control had to come in to take her and her siblings to the shelter. The shelter was just way too much for her and was a very scary place for her. When we pulled her from the shelter she had completely shut down and was scared beyond measure...she was so terrified that she wouldn't make eye contact with us and would cower in the corner. She would pancake when trying to talk her as well. Week by week we get to see more and more of her silly, fun and happy personality shine through. She bounces around playing with the other rescue dogs. She is need of a grooming and that is next on our plate as well as spaying her. She will need a patient owner to give her the time to trust and love you. Another doggy friend would be best for her and possibly a fenced yard with a doggy door since she has mastered the one at the rescue's home in no time.
