About Skylar

Incredible dog: loyal, loving, well behaved, sweet, smart and willing to learn/please. She is house broken and knows some behaviors/tricks. I believe she would make a fantastic service animal for a Vet or similar. Unfortunately, my employment circumstances have changed since I rescued her and I am now traveling for work. Because of this she is alone in a small camper for up to 14 hours a day 3-4 days in a row. I feel she is bored, and under stimulated. I am searching for a home with with other animals and/or children and room to explore and play. The camp ground we are currently at has a beautiful creek and woods to explore which she absolutely loves!! Sadly she is not able to do this daily which dogs need to be their healthiest and happiest. She really is an incredible dog and I hate to loose her, as dogs like this don't come along often but I want to see her happy and living her best dog life. Please understand that I intend to help her find her THAT life. I will want to know exactly who it is she is going to be spending it with. Because of this I will not respond to simple one line offers to take her. When responding please be willing to tell me about the home you have to offer and why she would be happier there. I would like to know why you want to make her part of your home and family. I will also want to have at least one meet and greet and an over night trial for Skylar and her potential new family before I let her go. She is currently very loved and spoiled. All her toys, beds, etc. will be coming with her. I am not asking for any fees directly but rather for a donation to Rescue Me to help assure that her prospective family has no ill intentions.
