About Boo

Boo is an 8 pound, 5-year-old, female Chihuahua with a unique personality. She is very shy and cautious in new places and needs more time than most dogs to fully decompress and get adjusted. Boo is an independent soul who is content with her own company. She will form a deep bond with one special person in the household and doesn't take interest in anyone else. Usually that special person is either a man who works in construction, or a heavier-set woman. Boo was not socialized much during her early life and these are the profiles she is most comfortable with. She wants attention on her terms and is not the type to smother you with affection. Boo doesn't seem to care about other animals one way or the other as long as they respect her space. When you take Boo home she will not be jumping into your lap or wanting to be pet on day one, maybe not even week one. Her life was small and quiet for 4 years so everything is brand new for her. She is a lover at heart and wants nothing more than to feel safe and give her affection freely, but she's scared. If you or anyone tries to rush her into relationship she will be very very scared and she will try to protect herself the only way she knows how, which is to nip. But if you give her space and let her come around when she is ready, you will know the gift of an enormous love in a tiny little body. She is silly, sweet and learning to feel a bit safer everyday. Boo's adoption fee is $150. She has been spayed, microchipped, and kept current on vaccines. She is potty pad trained and is slowly building up the courage to go outside.
