About Penny

Let me tell you about my awesome dog Penny. She is a 65 lb Labrastaff, which is a Labrador retriever staffordshire bull terrier mix. She loves to cuddle on the sofa, fetch balls, sleeps alot, doesn't eat that much for a larger dog, and loves our orange cats. She is afraid of other dogs until she gets to know them. My in-laws have 2 bernedoodles that she loves to play with. She is a very sweet, and very strong, so she is walked on a training leash to help with her pulling. She pulls only because she is curious about everything and wants to sniff every blade of grass during walks. She knows a few commands, like sit, lay down, shake, and I taught her not to run out of the front door when it opens. She very smart and trainable. She's really a big baby, that looks mean, but not. No she doesn't bite. You can reach inside her bowl of food while she's eating and you won't get a reaction from her. She needs a good loving home, possibly be the only dog or with a smaller dog. She loves cats and cats love her. I have military obligations to attend to, so there will be a long stretches of time that I won't be able to take care of her.
