About Oaklynn

This is a courtesy post we are helping network this beautiful Dog to find her a new home. The following is her bio written by her owner: This is oaklynn my 3 1/2 year old spayed and microchipped and up to date on vaccinations australian shepherd/great pyrenees mix 'from what we've been told' . We got her as a stray and don't know much about her life before being 3 years old . She is such a sweetheart and really the biggest couch potato . I am looking to rehome her because i feel as though she would benefit more in a different home . She has dog reactivity and is people selective . When it comes to her owners she loves us and has never done anything concerning to us . She does have a fur brother and it took them a couple weeks to get adjusted they actually bonded somewhere far away from home where they have never been so it's a neutral environment for both and they played so well . After that moment they were the bestest of friends. About a month ago they both spent a week apart and after seeing each other again she would over correct him and i was not sure if it was she hasn't seen him or what the case may be . But i have been not comfortable with leaving them out together due to her not tolerating some of his behaviors in her space . But she has unexpectedly went for my family members who got in her space , with no bites or even made contact but it has made them uncomfortable . I also have my siblings having to stay with me and although she is mellow and laid back she does not like really loud and sudden movements from this kids and i don't want an incident to occur . I very well think she would benefit in a small home so she can bond with her owners and build a connection with them .
