About Sticks

Sticks is a 4 year old chocolate Lab/Pit mix, around 80 pounds. I believe he is up to date on vaccines but I can provide vet records if interested. He is unfortunately losing his vision for an unknown reason (not Lyme or other tickborne illness related), and it has made him aggressive towards our young kids, so he must go to a home with either no kids, or age 10+ kids that would respect his boundaries. He needs to be the ONLY dog in the household as he has gotten in multiple fights with our other dog over food, toys, etc. If interested you will have to commit to him being your only dog until he passes. We've tried introducing him to multiple different dogs and situations and it never ends well. I think he'd do okay with cats as long as they'd leave him alone. He is the most lovable goofy boy and loves to play. He would do best in a home that wouldn't have him locked in a crate all day since he's a big guy, and who would give him plenty of exercise. He will follow you around wherever you go and is the biggest cuddle buddy. We are so sad to be looking for a new home for him but it's not fair to keep him separated from his humans all the time.
