About Dusky

Dusky is a super friendly boy that was hanging around in a mobile home park that will soon be closing down. He was trying to catch a meal with some other cats when he wandered into one of our traps. It was his lucky day! You see he was injured. His tail was fractured and he could barely hold it up. He got it cleaned up and an antibiotic given but even after it started healing, he wanted to chew on it. We sent him back to see a vet again and we did some radiographs on his tail. It showed a fracture. We decided the best thing to do would be to amputate his tail. So now he he's got the cutest little stubby tail ever! And he's no longer in pain This boy loves to chill in cat trees but not until he gets all the playful things to do out of the way! He also enjoys attention. He just can't get enough of it!
