About Noah

Noah is a 6 year old, 50 pound pitbull mix. For the first 18 months of his life he was severely abused by someone who claimed to be his caretaker. Luckily Noah was rescued and has lived in a loving home for the last 4 1/2 years and he has come a long way. Because he was abused as a puppy, he is reactive and usually 'on guard'. Once he accepts you he becomes a Velcro dog and will always be by your side. He likes to have his KONG toy in his mouth to chew and he will want you to throw it because playing fetch is his favorite sport. He needs a strong person that understands that he is not aggressive but reactive and that his behavior is not the result of an 'aggressive' breed but the result of the abuse he experienced. His behavior is listed here as 'aggressive' because 'reactive' was not an option. He is smart, loyal and very protective of his people. He is fully house trained and is current on vaccinations and has been neutered. Noah needs a new home because his owner has to move to a home that does not allow pets.
