About Moose

Lab
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Meet Moose! Moose is a beautiful chocolate lab male, 79 pounds, 4-5 years old, super sweet! Moose was hanging out at a family's home for a long period of time and the family was never found. Moose is a very loving, friendly and affectionate dog. He is non-aggressive. He is good with other dogs, people and kids, but best around older children since he is still slightly rambunctious and can easily knock one over. He is currently around a young eight-year-old boy with no issues. He seems to love people so would do well as an only dog getting all the love and attention or with one fur sibling. Moose would prefer a home with a large fenced in yard where he can pale around in, chase tennis balls and sunbathe. He is playful and enjoys spending time with his people playing fetch or tug-a-war, he can be mouthy, but gentle. He is goofy at times bouncing around and tossing toys in the air when playing alone. He is not fond of being crated so prefers to have free run of the house, so would do best with a stay-at-home or work-from-home individual or family member. Moose will require a family willing to provide plenty of exercise and additional obedience training and teaching him what he can and cannot do. He is learning the word NO with his foster family and his fur siblings are helping him learn new things. He is learning to potty outdoors and hasn't had an accidents. It is obvious Moose has been starved for human attention. He loves to receive pets and cuddles and learning how to be loved and a cared for dog!
