About Luma

Luma is a good dog that has come a long way! My son and daughter in law rescued her when she was 2yrs old. She was nervous around other animals at that time. She also had issues with eating all of the food and drinking all of the water available to her. They worked with her for 2 years and she no longer has those issues! Two years ago they had to move into a home without a yard, so they gave her to me until they could take her back. I have several dogs and she is good with them. She just doesn't like to be overwhelmed so she doesn't like puppies or those dogs that about by jumping in another dog's face. She has low to moderate energy and mostly enjoys laying in the couch with a chew toy/treat. She lives my Rhodesian Ridgeback make. He is bigger than her and they play often. I would recommend she go to a home with a larger male dog comparable to now. The little dogs have a tendency to bug her. My son and daughter in law still not in the position to take her back and I'd really love her to have a great forever life where she can thrive. She's also nervous when try to cut her nails, but she loves to be brushed.
