A bit about Leandro, who has spent a YEAR being overlooked at Palm Valley Animal Society: %BD%BD%90%BE%BD%BD%BD%BDHe is shy at first but quickly warms up to you, very gentle and loving (He might be a great ESA, he is so snuggly and loves to be near you) %BD%BD%90 He has been great with his female kennel mate, and with other dogs in a foster caregiver's home. Dogs were about 40-50 lbs and female, though he does not seem to mind male dogs, either. %BD%BDʹLOVES toys (all kinds) and LOVES enrichment puzzles and kongs. He has figured out all the puzzles/games and learned how to use the doggy door in like a day (and yes, he fits! %BD%BD%BD%BD) %BD%BD%A4%BDHe is super smart and trainable. He can sit and lie down. He is almost house trained. He'd be a great agility dog once his confidence builds, and has loved life out of the shelter. %BD%BD%8FzHe loves walks! After a long walk, he is ready for a nap. %BD%BD|%BDHe is treat motivated %BD%BD%8F%BD 60lbs, neutered, up to date on shots & prevention. %BD%BD%90%BECan't take credit, but his name is pretty fabulous (and can be changed if you feel differently)
