About Little

Little is an incredibly intelligent, protective (but scared of tree stumps and scarecrows) and loving dog. Her favorite pastime is nursing on her stuffed animals and making biscuits like a cat would. She is great at alerting me when anyone is near me when we go on walks. I know I'm protected from anyone or anything when she's with me. She loves to sleep under blankets, curled up in a ball, with her head tucked into my stomach. When I first adopted her, she was reactive. After 2 years of consistent training, her temperament has improved dramatically and I'm so proud of her. She still pulls on the leash when she sees a squirrel, but instead of her dragging me towards it, we just keep walking. It's obvious she was taken from her mother too soon and had no interaction with other animals before I adopted her. She lacks an understanding of boundaries when it comes to other animals. She's NOT at all violent towards other animals, but she doesn't realize how heavy her paws are. She would thrive in an environment with someone who enjoys training dogs, along with another patient dog that could teach her the natural boundaries she didn't have the opportunity to learn as a puppy.
