About URGENT - Aries

URGENT CASE for an extra-special dog. Meet Aries, one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet! This 4-year old, 45-pound 'criminal' has stolen many hearts and is ready to rob you of yours. Unfortunately, his time in foster is just about up. To prevent him from going to a large shelter, where he will very likely develop shelter stress and then be put down, Aries needs an adopter or another foster immediately. We do not want him to lose all the trust he's gained in just three months, considering he lived 3-��%BD%BD years in fear. A victim of abuse, Aries was saved by animal control in Attleboro, MA. He was scared and wary of people, but once in a foster home, he gradually came out of his shell. With the help of his foster mom and a teenage foster sister, Aries blossomed as a result of being in a loving home. Most of all, he began trusting humans. Aries' amazing advocates adore him and are amazed at his desire to love people. This now happy boy likes running around and playing, but he loves to show how fast his stubby little legs can go, go, go! He's discovered many new things and determined that car rides are his favorite pastime. He also loves catching balls, running with his foster mom, and chasing critters! Though his breed types are unknown, he resembles a Dachshund and/or beagle mix. He has hound qualities with a love for walking in the woods and on trails. He is very curious about sights and scents. Aries will do best with an experienced dog owner who will work with him to continue building his confidence. He responds really well to beef jerky treats! Aries' best match is adults, or adults with dog-savvy teens. Young, energetic kids are overwhelming at this time. He is curious about other dogs, and previously lived with one, but he would have to meet a potential dog sibling. No cats. Aries wants you to know he really enjoys a fenced-in yard and is open to Sunday drives any day of the week. Please note: Aries takes seizure medication.
