About Amber

We rescued Amber 2 years ago (vet estimated age to be under one year) and she is an amazing sweet girl that weighs around 40 lbs. We did DNA testing which determined that she is 100 percent American Foxhound. She is athletic and loves to run around the yard and walk on a leash. She requires a fenced yard so that she does not try to follow unknown scents with her amazing Foxhound nose. Our fence is 4 ft and she has never jumped over it. She stays in her crate if we are not home and loves to sleep in it at night. She will stay quietly in her crate until you are ready to get her out. She is friendly to every stranger and dog that she meets on our daily walks throughout our neighborhood. Loves playing with her furry friends at doggie day camp. She loves to play with her soft squeaky toys and does not chew them up. Requires one or two walks a day and is then content to cuddle on the couch with you. She is very friendly and welcoming to everyone who visits our home. She's never had an accident or chewed up anything in the house.
