Maggie lives recently moved with her owners and toddler daughter from Oakland to San Anselmo. Maggie was adopted from the Oakland Animal Shelter in May of 2019 after she was found running around the Oakland Colosseum after birthing a litter of puppies (never found). Maggie prefers quiet environments and is not particularly dog friendly, but warms to all humans (including children and different genders and races) after sniffs and treats. Maggie has separation anxiety and takes daily and pre-departure medications to avoid panic attacks and associated behaviors. With a routine schedule, Maggie can be left for 8-10 hours with doors and water without incident. As our daughter continues to grow, it is becoming a challenge to maintain a set routine for Maggie and it is difficult to accommodate spontaneous needs of our daughter and Maggie's routines (which have worked for almost 5 years) concurrently.
