About Gus

Meet Gus! There is so much good in this boy. He just wants love, wants to soak it all up. He is gentle with all the humans he has met, and repsonds so well to affection and treats. He has a HUGE heart, just wants to love and be loved, he is such a good boy. And he has some challenges, some things that will need a sense of steadiness from his adopter: Gus is a doggo who needs to be your one and only, his prey drive is too high for him to be around ANY other animals. Gus is very vocal. He barks consistently for any activity near him at the shelter. This could absolutely calm down when he finds a stable home where there are not 20 other dogs near him, but it may also be part of his personality. If it is, we just want to flag that it is something he will need someone patience on while he learns once adopted. He has some mission impossible skills up his sleeve, lol. This boy was an acrobat in another life, and showed up in this one as a Stafforshire Bull Terrier, lol. We want to find him someone who knows the challenges and loves this awesome, good boy so much that it's just all part of the awesome Gus package. Gus is a 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who will melt you with his smile! and his big heart of gold. Please come meet this guy and see what a great doggo he is.
