About Duke

Loyal, fun loving, active, attention seeking, best friend needs new home asap! He is also an excellent guard dog! Loves walks and being outside, loves pets and hugs, and lots of treats! He knows basic commands, walks well on leash with halti collar, good with older kids. Mixed with pit bull Great Dane Great Pyrenees and lab. Rescued as puppy and momma abandoned litter. He now sucks on pillows as a binky for comfort since he was a baby. He has no idea how big he is! He gets really excited when you come home, he smiles. It is very hard for us to say goodbye but we had our first baby in November and Duke has not handled the change very well despite all the that we have tried to help him and the situation. We have worked with trainers, medication, separation, inclusion, one on one time�'�| we feel like it would be in Dukes best interest to find a home where he can be the center of attention again. Before baby came home Duke never had any issues with anxiety or fears and was friendly with other animals. He is crate trained, house trained, eats healthy, exercises regularly. He's a good dog and deserves a home he feels comfortable in.
