Jasper was saved from euthanasia at an overcrowded shelter, where he had been for only three days before landing on the kill list. (Yes, that's how dire the situation can be at overcrowded shelters.) Thankfully, with the help of a loving foster, we were able to give Jasper a second chance at life. Jasper can be reserved in new situations, but you can tell it's only a matter of time before he opens up. His confidence grows quickly when he's with other dogs, so his ideal home will have another dog(s) to show him the ropes. Jasper is young, which shows in his playful silliness and occasional clumsiness. Once he feels comfortable and knows he is safe, his happy and sweet personality shines through.
