About Junebug

Junebug is a 1.5 year old, 45lb Black Lab Mix. She is mixed with a smaller breed, which gives her the face of a lab, but the legs of a stubbier dog(aka the cutest thing ever). Junebug is friendly with dogs(I've had her around dogs as small as a Chihuahua and dogs as big as a Rhodesian Ridgeback), cats(she is out of crate 24/7 with my territorial cat), and people. Junebug is medium energy - she will lay on the couch with you all day and only ask for pets, or keep up next to you on the leash during walks. She adapted well to apartment life, and is so content indoors, so she never tries to run outside, and even off leash she knows to come when called. Junebug is a little anxious when meeting other animals for the first time, but she has no temperament or reactivity. Her tail wags and she wants to play, but she may turn her back at first or walk away while she decompresses, then she'll be just as silly and as playful as always. Junebug is fine on the leash, in a crate, and is potty trained despite an occasional accident when I'm away at work for too long(she knows to use the potty pads, too). Also, when she gets super excited, sometimes her tail wags in circles instead of back and forth(like a helicopter!) She is the sweetest, most timid dog I've ever met. She would be happy in any home, and would do well with any animals or people, and would make an incredible addition to any family. Please reach out with any questions!
