Meet Delilah - A Loving, Energetic Companion Looking for Her Forever Home! Delilah is an absolute gem! This precious girl was originally adopted from Saving Grace by a dedicated member of law enforcement. He provided her with a loving home, training her to be an obedient and well-mannered companion. Delilah is house-trained, listens exceptionally well, and even enjoys running with her human friends! Tragically, Delilah's beloved owner lost his battle with cancer over three years ago. His grieving family, unable to provide the care and attention she deserved, kept her in a small yard as an outside dog. Despite her circumstances, Delilah's spirit remained unbroken - always wagging her tail, full of hope and love. One day, while visiting my family and walking my dog in the neighborhood, I noticed Delilah through the fence. Her joyful tail wagging captured my heart. After some convincing, the family agreed to let me and my boyfriend take her in. When she joined us, she was about 10 pounds underweight and behind on her shots. We've had Delilah for just over a month now, and she has shown us what a wonderful companion she can be. She's great with kids and loves to be active, but unfortunately, she doesn't get along well with our dog, leading to a few fights. Because of this, we've had to keep them apart most of the time, which isn't fair to either dog. Delilah deserves a home where she can thrive - one with a backyard to play in or an active person who can match her energy. She's a loyal and loving dog who has overcome so much and still has so much love to give.
