About Clancy

Clancy is a handsome, friendly black lab retriever mix who turned 1 on April 29, 2024. He is a super friendly, high-energy pup who is chipped, neutered, up to date on shots, 100% housebroken, and knows basic commands. He is trained to walk with a lead (only pulls if he sees a squirrel!) and carry a backpack. Loves car rides, going to the beach and park, and taking walks. He is great with adults and probably fine with kids, but we are not sure. He is fine with the 2 cats who live in his home and with his sister dog. Regular exercise and at least 3 walks a day are vital!! He still needs some training to not jump on people or to 'counter surf'. He needs a home where someone will be home almost all the time, as he needs lots of attention & affection (like most pups) and doesn't like being crated if no one is there. Otherwise, he is fine in the crate and sleeps in his crate at night. Clancy is available immediately because one of his owners has a recent unexpected health situation that will take at least a year to heal and they now have 2 dogs, and they can only handle one. He is a cute, sweet, affectionate guy who would make a welcome addition to a home. Get this great fellow while he lasts! Crate, leash, dog food, bowls, and toys will be provided.
