About Summer

URGENT RESCUE NEEDED!! We rescued this heeler and she has been great with our age 7+ children, however friends/family with small children visiting have been a problem. She has hurt 2 dogs in our neighborhood, and we are no longer able to keep her due to continued potential threats. Summer is loving to our family, great in the country life without a leash, easy to care for, loves to play with her squeaky toys and herding ball. Unfortunately, our neighborhood is active and full of children and other dogs. We don't have a backyard to leave her in at moment (due to remodel), and would love to find her a better home environment so she can run around and play. She has a great temperament, is calm and sweet in our own home environment. Loves to play and be a velcro dog! We have used a behavioral trainer and she was supposed to leave for a 5 week board and train this upcoming week. Due to a terrible situation this week, that is no longer an option. She will be put down on Thursday if we can't find her a new home. Please help us find this sweet girl a new home where she can relax and be loved. Our family is beyond devastated and we really don't want to have to make this terrible decision because we brought her home to our life and asked her to mold to something she wasn't qualified for! (The animal shelter lied about her ability to be with other dogs and children)
