Layla was saved from the streets in the south about two years ago. She's probably around 3 years old, 45 pounds, fully grown and both house and crate trained. And now, it's time for her to find her own family! Layla is spayed and updated on vaccines and will be microchipped when she goes home. She is friendly but very shy, so like most dumped dogs, she will need some time to understand she is safe and loved by her new family. Layla is not a barker and is very gentle. She is good with other dogs and cats but doesn't choose to play with them. She is very food-motivated which is good for training but if there are other animals at home, feedings should be done in separate areas. Layla will do best in a quiet home without kids and big parties. She needs a family who will give her lots of love and the time for her to understand that she is in a loving, and safe forever home. If adopted, she can come to NJ on our next transport and go directly to her new home.
