About Luka

Luka is a 4 yr old husky mix. He is very talkative! We do not know the history of where he came from, but a scar on his back leg indicated that is was not a good place. Despite this, he loves people and other animals. He loves attention, getting petted, toys, and being the center of attention. He is very smart, but also is an escape artist. We previously had a fenced yard, but do not at our new home. We bought an invisible fence, however, he breaks through the barrier which is very unsafe. We have made the hard decision to find him a new home with a family who has a fenced yard to accommodate him. He does not come back when he gets out. He is microchipped and makes friends with whoever he sees, so we usually have to wait for someone to find him and call us. We are terrified he is going to be hit by a car. He has been very fortunate as he has had some really close calls running out in front of vehicles. He deserves to have a loving family with a yard to run and play in safely. Adoption fee includes toys and large bag of food.
