Please apply a few days (or more) ahead of the event to allow time for processing. We hope to see you on Sunday!!! *Dog/cat attendance is not guaranteed. Feel free to text the event coordinator to confirm a specific dog's attendance: 703-447-4766. Meet Squeaks - Squeaks was born on March 13, 2024 and is 11 weeks old. Squeaks is a bit timid and shy of new people and relies on his brother, Mittens for support. Squeaks is still very young and with time and patience he will be able to build up his confidence. Once he is comfortable, he will come be near his people. Squeaks likes other cats and is young enough to learn to live with dogs who are cat friendly. Squeaks will need to go to a forever home with his brother Mittens. Squeaks would do best in a home where someone was around a good portion of the day to help him overcome his shyness. Kittens inherently do best in pairs. This kitten has age-appropriate vaccines, is microchipped and will need to be neutered at 6 months of age. The adoption fee for this kitten is $150, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the kitten is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. You must be over 25 years old to adopt from Canines & Kitties Rescue.
