Please text the event coordinator to confirm an animal's attendance: 703-447-4766. Only Canines & Kitties Rescue pre-approved adopters will be able to take a dog/cat home from the event. Go to our website to fill out the adoption application & learn about all the animals in our care: caninesandkittiesrescue.org Meet Mittens - Mittens was born on March 13, 2024 and is 7 months old. Mittens is an outgoing and sweet little kitten. He is playful and spunky. Mittens and his brother Squeaks are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Mitten is young enough to learn to live with other cats and is young enough to learn to live with dogs who are cat friendly. Kittens inherently do best in pairs. This kitten has age-appropriate vaccines, is microchipped and will need to be neutered at 6 months of age. The adoption fee for this kitten is $150, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the kitten is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. You must be over 25 to adopt from Canines & Kitties Rescue.
