About Jett

**COURTESY POST** This handsome little man is Jett! Jett was the runt of his litter and was rejected by his mom when he was just a few days old. The owner put out a plea for help and one of our prior adopters took the puppy in. She bottle fed him until he was old enough to begin eating puppy food, and he is a perfectly healthy puppy who needs a home to call his own! Jett is 10 weeks old (born 3/24) and weighs 14 pounds. He is going to be a large dog fully grown. His mom was a beautiful chocolate lab and we think dad was a lab too but we aren't 100% sure so we're going to say that he is a Lab mix. Jett is all puppy! He loves to play with other dogs and toys and anything else that looks like it might be fun. He is bouncy and happy and friendly and oh, so sweet! He never meets a stranger and lives for attention and affection. He loves to be petted and held and played with. He's a smart little man who does very well with positive reinforcement and gentle correction. Jett is in a home with several small older dogs and a couple of cats and is very curious and playful with all of them. When his foster mom cannot supervise him or the other dogs need a break from his puppy energy he spends time in a large puppy pen and does very well there. He sleeps in the puppy pen at night too. Since he has not had all of his shots he is not allowed outside yet so he will need potty training and leash training and all of the other puppy basics. Jett has already had a couple of vet visits, has had two sets of puppy shots and will be fully vetted (paid for by the lady who saved his life). Since he still has pending vet appointments he is local adoption only (within a one hour drive to Pensacola). He has an adoption fee of $200.
