About Mattie

Mattie is a 6-year old female redbone coonhound. She weighs about 75 pounds and is spayed and chipped. She considers herself an inside dog and prefers lounging on a couch or in a sunbeam to being outside. She is mostly indifferent to other dogs and LOVES all people. She is a true sweetheart, very well-behaved and responds well to voice commands. She's not a true hunting dog. Even if she catches a scent, she's hesitant to pursue anything. If she does, she will chase it until it runs, then turn around and come back.
