About Lobo

Lobo is a 3 year old Malamute GSD mix and was the runt from a backyard breeder and he had some maladaptive tendencies early on. I hand fed him for months to help him learn to not resource guard and also taught him basic commands. He is overall good with my kids but we don't leave him unattended with my toddler. Lobo loves to hike and is pretty great for me off leash if there aren't other dogs around. Although rarely deployed, he is trained with an e-collar. He has had a constant companion with my 6 year old husky and has pretty intense separation anxiety. He is house trained but we fence off our living room and bedrooms so he only has access to tile kitchen if we're gone. His ideal home would be with someone who is a pretty constant companion, has a fenced yard for him to spend time outside, experienced with larger breeds, potentially doesn't have young kids. He sort of 'guards' my kids and can intimidate folks who aren't comfortable asserting themselves.
