About Chance

Chance is a sweet and loving boy. We rescued him from a shelter where he came from an abusive situation when he was 2.5. He has thrived and flourished the last 6 years and he is such a kind, loyal & loving boy. I call him my mush. Though he has come a long way, Chance still suffers from separation anxiety. He has a hard time when you're gone for a long time and cannot be boarded or crated. Anxiety medication is recommended for long periods gone. He also can still be skeptical of new men upon meeting for the first time, but if you let him approach you on his own time he is fine. We have a 5 year old and he has been nothing but wonderful with her. He prefers to follow you and be close by you in the house all day. Chance needs daily walks for his energy level and mental health. Chance has lived with our other dog for 6 years in harmony, however a recent incident between the two has led us to have to re-home him. While it breaks our hearts, we have hope that there is a loving home for Chance. His ideal home is with patient parents who are kind and gentle. Who are active and will show lots of love. No other animals in the home.
