Hi I wasn't sure how to contact you guys. I was directed over from this direction from a shelter I have contacted that is at capacity. I wanted to see if you guys were able to help me. I currently have two Simese male cats probably around 2 years old that need loving homes. I was helping a friend in riverside who couldn't keep them because her housing complex not allowing cats & they were street cat's badly starved at the time. My issue is I currently live on Camp Pendleton ( military base) unfortunately I live in a neighborhood where cats are prohibited due to a protected species of mice that are native to the area. ( I was unaware) So technically illegal to have cats apparently ���� so I cannot keep them for myself. I've been trying to hold on to them until I found a forever home but it's been pretty difficult sadly. I received a final notice to remove them from the property. Since housing has found out & I'm not sure what to do. I have contacted all the main shelter near by with no luck (human society etc) but they all say where I live is out of their jurisdiction because of the Camp Pendleton animal shelter. We've already contacted them on multiple occasions but they laughed at us & told us the waiting list is incredibly long. Which I completely understand the circumstances But our housing is threatening to kick us out. Which sucks. So I'm kind of at a stand still. I'm willing to travel if I need to if that means they will be in good hands. Haku & olive is what we call them. They are about 2 years old We got them neutered & microchipped in case they ran away & to make sure the future owners didn't have to worry etc( we had our cat run away before a couples years ago) They have their rabies shots I believe They are good with friendly cats Great with smaller dogs , never been exposed to big dogs. Great with kids. They are litter box trained Like I said I'm willing to drive whenever I can if possible. I've tried to find them homes but am having no luck. Thank you so much for your time.
