About Mabel

Mabel was most likely abandoned and was on the run in the wild for at least 5 days before she was able to be captured. She had many ticks around her neck and ears and wounds from ones that had already fallen off. Luckily, she was otherwise okay. She received a wound healing spray to help the wounds from the ticks and everything cleared up well. Mabel will need sometime to warm up to a new person. We believe she has a hard trying to trust people after what happened to her. She still will come up to us and is friendly, but if she doesn't like something, she will let you know. We hope to find someone who will be patient with her and give her the space and love she needs. Mabel is approx 2 years old.
