About Luka

Luka is a really smart sweetheart. He went through basic training, is house trained and crate trained. He has been around farm animals, dogs (male/female, big/small), and cats and has been very friendly with all. He is friendly with all new people however he seems fearful around small children. We have made the decision to rehome Luka as he has developed a form of mange that we have been treating on and off since 2021. We have been told by several vets that it seems to be stress induced by bringing our first baby home which seemed to be the onset of his skin irritation. Luka was mostly an indoor dog but we recently decided to separate him from our children by having him sleep outside of the house and it seemed to help his skin. As the weather gets warmer, our kids are spending more time outside making Luka more stressed and therefore having a flare up. Luka still has lots of energy but we feel that he isn't in a comfortable place to exhibit that anymore. Anyone that takes him in will be lucky to have this sweet cuddle bug.
