About Penny

We are very sad to rehome our dog that we adopted two years ago. We got her to be an emotional support dog for our son with Autism. She has been an amazing, sweet girl, but our youngest is very scared of her. She is just is a ball of energy and very strong. She is a Shepard mix and she herds our kids. We have spent a lot of time training her but I don't have the energy for what she needs. She is very protective of my kids and me and has developed leash reactivity to other dogs. She will snarl growl, and lunge if she is too close to another dog. She is fine with small dogs though. She also has lunged at delivery drivers if the door was opened on accident. She is slowly getting better as I have been vigilant about walking her and exposing her. Our trainer says she should be with other dogs but no young children. Please share with anyone who doesn't have young kids and ready for a very energetic, loyal, and friendly dog. She is all up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She is about 45 lbs, and three years old.
