About Beast

Beast is a very sweet and loving European Great Dane that is an 8 year old intact male. He loves being around people and other dogs. He is in his lounging dog phase. Unfortunately due to his arthritis, and his anxiety, he is unable to take our stairs anymore. We love him very much, but it is unfair to put him through the pain and anxiety of climbing stairs multiple times a day. He must be in a single level home. He has arthritis and some skin issues (skin tags, etc). We had them examined, and the vet assured us they are benign and normal for his age and breed. He also has an issue with his foot (scar tissue buildup from losing a toe at birth). He is great with other dogs and is used to cats, but will probably ignore them for the most part. He is kennel trained and potty trained. Full work up at the vet in the last 2 months, and he is healthy apart from the arthritis and above stated minor issues. He will come with the kennel, food and water bowls, toys, and all other necessities that we have for him. He weighs around 135-140 lbs. He is currently on an anti-inflammatory and pain meds for his arthritis. We would prefer he go to an owner that has previous or current Great Dane experience.
