About Rex

SSimi Valley, California (just north of Los Angeles): Rex needs a good home Please help us find a forever home for handsome Rex, a 5 year-old, 73-lb Lab/Shepherd-looking mix so he does not end up at a shelter. He is smart, healthy, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. Rex is a loyal and loving dog, especially towards 'his person'. He is happy to lounge and sleep during the day and loves daily walks (going as long as you want) and playing tug-of-war. However, Rex can have a somewhat nervous disposition and may take a while to warm up to new people. He lived peacefully with another male dog for four years, but more recently, there have been a couple fights between the two (like when a play session went too far) and now Rex wants to assert dominance. Due to the owner having to move, she is no longer able to keep the two dogs separated and thus needs to rehome Rex where he is the only pet and with an experienced pet parent.
