Little Koda Bear was found in an abandoned residence with a litter of jack russell/chihuahuas and was taken to a rural shelter, where he was found to be only 4 lbs., emaciated, and in need of rescue. As Little Koda Bear gained strength and grew, it was clear he was not a jack russell/chihuahua, he looked like a little labrador retriever puppy! Well, low and behold, his Embark results came back as 40.8% rottweiler, 30.4% American Pitbull, 14% beagle, and 14.8% 'supermutt'! Although his DNA does not specifically list black lab, that is what he looks like mostly to us, so that is what we are leading with! Who cares about labels anyway'| Koda is a 100% pure sweetheart!! Koda is shy at first, and then quick to be your best friend! He loves to PLAY, whether it be with a person, other dogs, or the cats! Koda is respectful and gentle when playing with his furry friends. If his furry friends are occupied, he is happy to play with toys or perhaps chew on your slippers (hehe). Koda is a typical, floppy puppy and will need some work with obedience training. Koda is used to a fenced-in yard and currently believes that a leash is a toy. When he isn't busy being a mischievous pup, he is such a lover! With time and dedication, Koda is easily trainable, and he has already come such a long way. Koda is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He is fostered in Canton, OH and is available for an adoption fee of $450.00.
